Now, I'm back in Boston and I couldn't be happier. I have for the first time a job where I'm passionate, enthusiastic and excited about what the company sells. In 5.5 years in sales and over 3 companies, this is actually a first for me. I'm being paid a lot and everyone I've meet this past week has been amazing. I gave myself until the summer to find something and despite the fact that I felt as if I was leaving too soon, when a great thing falls in your lap you jump for it. My new job is with a start up, so there are risks. But I think it's a good, calculated risk.
I've convinced a few of my friends in London to make the trek over to the US in the next year or two, which would be great to see them. I will miss not sending my Grandma postcard of everywhere I go! Maybe I'll have to start doing that with US cities I visit?? But that doesn't have the same ring than a card from Paris, or Nice, or Edinburgh. Oh well.
I feel a bit silly continuing this blog, which purpose was to keep my family up to date on things I was doing abroad. So, along those lines I will continue when I travel to post travel pictures (I have several trips to NYC, trip to Denver, trip to Toronto planned) in the mix so should get some good shots for sure. If I can make enough and have enough saved, there will be a trip to Europe or Asia coming in the Fall or around New Years 2013. Thanks mum and dad for helping me with the smooth transition back home, it's been a whirlwind and it's great to have you has my anchor. You officially no longer have an "American Warewolf in London," although I guess I still do feel sound as a pound, so that's still true 'innit.
